Introduction

You find yourself standing alone outside a dimly lit convenience store, the only building still glowing on a quiet, forgotten street. There's no one around. Your car is missing. You're not even sure how you got here in the first place.

Inside, the store hums with flickering lights and the distant sound of a fridge fan. A man greets you with familiarity, even though you don't recognize his face. He seems kind, but something about him feels distant, almost hollow. He asks for a quick favor. You agree. It’s just one task. Then maybe you can get on your way.

But as the night stretches on, something in the air begins to shift. The silence deepens. The store feels older than it should be, almost like it's suspended in time. The tasks grow stranger but still are normal. The man’s requests come more often. And as you go through the motions, subtle pieces of a larger truth begin to surface.

This is a short psychological horror experience that focuses on atmosphere, unease, and storytelling through interaction. What starts as a simple errand will slowly unravel into something far more unsettling.

How long have you really been here? Why does this place feel so familiar? And are you sure you were just passing through?

Gameplay

Gameplay is around 10-15 Minutes, offering a single ending. For the best experience wear headphones and play on 1920 x 1080 resolution.

pretty nice game, keep it up!

They put CaseOh in this horror game!

Verry cool game with a deep story and interesting story.

that was really deep

DONE. GREAT GAME.

just finished the game, loved the caseoh references but sorry didn't really like the game

Delightful game with an interesting story; this was a blast to play!

Today! We found the corpse of Storefront

Flesh (Visuals):

That old, PSX style visuals, did not look bad!

Dismemberment (Difficulty):

Not difficult at all, walking sim with tasks, easy to play

Infestation (Bugs):

Did not encounter any bugs that I know of

Corpse Integrity (Story):

I liked the store, had a twist that I enjoyed that I was not expecting, feels bad for sad lonely guy

Something Off About It? (Ambience):

The game it's self, did not really get under my skin or make me uneasy, jumpscare got me pretty good, ambience was just a normal feeling store

How Long To Dismember (Playtime):

Took me around 15 minutes

Value Of Meat (Price):

Free! Free is always in the budget!

Post Mortem Thoughts:

While not panic and chills inducing like some horror games, it was an enjoyable and chill experience, hit me with a jumpscare, told a story with a twist that was interesting, easy to play

Great job GrantRimi

This was not as scary as I thought it would be but that one jump scare did get me good haha. Very well done and quite an interesting story!

Not what I would've expected! Nice plot twist. I'm glad it strayed away from the usual store cleaning horror. Good stuff!

I made a video on your game if you're interested :)

Nice game enjoyed it definitely looking forward to play more of your games

Such a fun game to act out on stream!

This game was really good!! The music in the store was fire!!!!!

This game was very good!

The atmosphere was good but i stumped my toe while getting jumped. Story i quite liked and the ending...

W GAME!!!

Gruseliges Horrorgame mit einem Twist am Ende was ich nicht vorhergesehen habe :) Hat mir echt viel Spaß gemacht!

Hey really enjoyed this one. Really liked the twist at the end. Going to keep checking out your future work.

The story was eerie and emotional, with the convenience store setting turning into something much deeper.

The gameplay was well designed, mixing simple tasks with a powerful narrative twist.
Thank you for creating such a memorable experience!

I played in Japanese and uploaded a gameplay video here:
🎥

Looking forward to your future works!

Reminds me of my local store.

The story was interesting, and I enjoy doing everyday tasks in video games way more than in real life :) Keep up the great work.

Good game!

This was a fun, quick game, that had a lot of story. I recommend checking it out down below!

does it support windows 7 ima try

I was expecting this to be a scary game and instead I ended up crying. Great game! Check out the video, THANKS!

you have great idea  of such a great game like this 👌, and I support u to make more great games like this dude 😎

Surprisingly good game. Why surprisingly? At first glance it seems like a typical horror with Itch.io, banal and just with low-grade screamers. BUT. Over time, the plot really opens up, and the game's shell no longer seems so strange and banal. There is a good plot twist and all the plot details are explained normally, which is rare for similar projects on Itch. Nevertheless, this game turned out really good in this regard. It is clearly not about the gameplay, it does not play a big role here, but it does not make the game much worse.

What I did not really like - the sound here is quite quiet and in the theme in the main menu it gives to the left ear, which is strange. But apart from this and the strange mechanics with how the main character bends over, the game is very good for one evening, I liked it.

Hi! The game was short but really enjoyable. That ending totally caught me off guard. Great work! :)

Was not expecting the plot that came at all!!

Welp, the last thing I was expecting to be in some purgatory and I was sure the guy on the toilet was gonna murder me, but nope. This was a good play, keep up the great work! (3rd game)

Goodness, this story hit me so hard in the feels! :( This game's story is so memorable, and the way it was told was excellent. I'm a fan and a follower!

great game, eerie vibe, happy to see what you do in your future games! R.I.P LEROY

The ending was sad. Great game though, I just followed you on Itch. Waiting for more games like this !

i played the game and it changed my life....i feel bad for that guy...

thanks for playing!

NP! and it was such a great game looking forward to play some new games like this :)

Nice Game !

I played all of these... there's something refreshing and comfortable about the ps1/low res textures and low poly models. Can't wait for your Magnum Opus.

At first I thought this was going to be another one of those horror games, but damn man

You did a great job! Good luck with your future Games !!

I absolutely loved this game! Must play!

Bring the tissues, this one is a tear jerker | Storefront

I was not ready to be emotional at the end of a short horror game😢 Looking forward to more of your games!

Played this Last night, it is an interesting premise and is very story driven, nice break away from the high adrenaline monster chases that's for sure
