Version 1.3 Now Live and new game on the way!
Version 1.3 is here!
First of all, thanks for all of the support, and feedback! There are a couple things I want to address, with the first thing being the changes that come with this update.
CRT Effect GONE!
This was a hard decision to make as the CRT effect was what made this game stand out, however I decided to put performance above visuals this time, and ultimately remove the effect, as it caused objects in the scene to obstruct text prompts/dialogue. However there is a compromise to this as the scanlines are somehow still there. Don't worry as the Text Prompts and Dialogue are all good and you can see the dialogue properly now!
Almost to 5,000 Downloads!
Thank you all SO MUCH to those who've considered downloading this game, as I have to admit, this project felt a little rushed, and I had to make some drastic changes to make this game what it is now.
Next Game
I always like to announce my next game on these Dev logs, and the next one will most likely be around 10-15 minutes long like this game.
The next game is called "Routine", and here is the premise
You play as Malcolm, a man in his late twenties living alone in a quiet house on the outskirts of the city. His life is predictable. Work every weekday, the same nightly Routine, sleep, repeat. But one Friday night, he breaks the pattern: he orders a pizza, a small reward for surviving another week. Only this night, something feels different. Not all routines are meant to be kept.
